Spread The Hope!

It’s always a beautiful thing to be able to make someone’s day better. You could brighten their morning with a kind word or by simply smiling. It doesn’t cost a penny to be a nice person.

It’s so easy for us to prioritise our work, our phones, our money and whatever else, that we forget to make time for the people we love. How often do we see families sitting together at a gathering and every pair of eyes in the room is glued to a phone? It certainly is ironic that we have become more connected on a global scale, but at the same time, we’ve lost touch with those closest to us.

Show people that you value, respect and appreciate them for being a part of this journey we call life. At the end of the day, every little deed counts so we might as well spend more time doing good deeds rather than bad ones. Wherever there is a human, there’s an opportunity to express kindness. Don’t ignore those who are sad. Be there for them. Try to help them. If you put a smile on their face, you’ll be sure to leave them with a cheerful heart. As humans, we have to look out for our fellow humans. As Muslims, we have to reach out to them. We have a duty to encourage and support each other during hard times.

If you can do something to make someone feel better, do it before it’s too late. There could be so many things going on in that person’s life. They might be on the verge of losing hope. But you could make a difference. You could be the one that supports them all the way. You could be the one to ignite the hope in their heart, just by showing them that you truly care. You must grasp these valuable opportunities to show people that they matter. Show people that you are someone they can talk to if they are ever in need of support. Be that safe space for someone to express themselves by listening from a non-judgemental perspective and advising them from a place of love.

It’s important to remember that you are not actually doing them a favour. Rather, they are the ones doing you a favour! They have given you an opportunity to help them and in return for your care, you gain good deeds. You have been blessed to be put in the life of that person and now you are able to easily do good deeds. Allah could have easily chosen someone else to be the supporter of that sad person. But He chose you. Thank Allah for this blessing and cherish the people that you cross paths with. You will learn to appreciate everything and everyone in your life.

If you’re going through a tough time and you want someone to talk to, you can message me anytime at thehopefulmuslimah@outlook.com. I understand that it’s difficult sometimes to talk to friends and family about the issues we face in life. We don’t want to be judged or critised for the things that we’ve done. Whether you’re struggling with your faith, losing hope or you just need someone to talk to, I want you to know that I’m here for you and I will try my best to help you. I may not be able to relate to everything you’ve been through, but the things we both have in common is that we’re both human. We both experience the same feelings and we’re both looking for happiness. We want to  fill the emptiness in our hearts. Sometimes you may feel like you’re the only one going through hardships, but always remember that you’re never alone. There will always be someone out there who cares about you. And even if you can’t reach out to this person right now, know that Allah loves and cares about you more than anyone else and you can always turn to Him.

Pour your heart out to Allah first, before anyone else. He can heal your heart. He can strengthen your faith. When you trust Allah, He will never betray you. Find comfort in the Quran, the words of Allah. It’s His message to you. Won’t you allow your heart to reflect upon it and discover its wonder and beauty? Your heart wasn’t created to find happiness in worldly matters, it was created to be find peace in the remembrance of Allah. If you seek Allah’s pleasure, you are guaranteed to find happiness.

“Now surely the friends of Allah– they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.”

{Surah Yunus Verse 62}

  1. An amazing read. I am glad that you are brought this up. It really gets tough sometimes to talk even to the most closest of people. Keep up the good work. May Allah swt bless you abundantly ,love.

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment. I really appreciate your encouragement. Sometimes it is hard to talk to close ones, but it takes a strong person to be honest about their weaknesses. And I admire such strength. If you ever need to talk to someone, then I’m here for you. It’s beautiful to see people learn and grow from their past. That’s what I want for myself and for all the people I love. We’re all here to support each other.
      May Allah bless you too, sister. Take care❤
